I was excited today

Dear Children,

I hope you were excited about 18.02 lecture today. Did you notice the plethora of pink chalk diagrams? PINK! My excitement about todays lecture is only topped by my love of Seinfield.

Now we're gonna pass the law of conservation of pink!

Good evening interwebs. I've found another page full of my lecture-time mannerisms. Bless the children who compile these.

Here are a few of my favorites (granted I've forgotten about most of them) :
Is the microphone on? No? Shit! ...I guess it must be on.
If you give it to a particular chemist, and by chemist I mean a particular branch of MIT, probably all of MIT except the math department, they'd say, "What? There's no proof there!"

...boats that are smuggling drugs.

Some function of...er...daah!

Apologies

Hey guys,
Today was a sad day. As you may have noticed, I was a little flustered in class. You may be wondering why this is. The truth is, I lost my pink chalk. This chalk was very important for me. As you may know I traded my sanity/marbles for it. Without either of these things I could not remember how to solve a series of linear equations with three variables and only three equations. However today was especially hard because the chalk gnomes were mean and put different types of chalk inside my chalk. I had yellow on the outside and white on the inside, and orange outside and yellow inside, yellow every where, it was bad. I promise you all that I will again find my pink chalk and redeem myself.
Best,
Papa Mattuck

Why I love pink chalk...

Well, I've finally found my way onto the interwebs. All those Engineers were complaining to me over lunch that I don't teach these children anything. I don't need to teach them...I HAVE TENURE! Hahahahahaha
